We are down to our final 10 days of school! We have a whole lot going on in the next couple weeks so please pay attention to dates and any reminders sent out.
Highlights of the Week:
- ELAL – We dedicated time for social emotional learning by identifying different emotions and connecting it with the film Inside Out. Students then created a visual journal page to create their own islands of personality and responded to writing prompts.
- Math – Students spent time reviewing concepts from our year of learning to help prepare the grade 6 students for their PAT coming up on Monday and Thursday. Grade 5’s also spent time continuing their food truck projects.
- Science –
- Grade 6 – Students reviewed and wrote their PAT this week.
- Grade 5 – Students spent time coding Ozobots.
